Saint Laurent is a grape that, while somewhat similar to a rich, concentrated and spicey Pinot Noir alternative, has nearly disappeared from Alsace and Germany where it was once popular. Instead, it is now at home in Moravia and Slovaquia - and to a lesser extent in Austria.
